This intensive, five-part in-person course is specifically designed to help couples navigate the relationship challenges unique to modern parenthood. You will gain practical, actionable tools to move from feeling disconnected and resentful to operating as a unified, high-functioning team.

The course is divided into five weekly face-to-face meetings, led by Alex Trippier, focusing on:
Unit 1: Modern parenting expectations and how they impact our relationships.
Unit 2: Busting myths about "good" parenting and finding your authentic family approach.
Unit 3: Managing conflict constructively and developing effective repair techniques.
Unit 4: The mental load and establishing an equitable division of labour.
Unit 5: Reconnecting as partners beyond parenting—rediscovering intimacy and connection.
Course format & next steps
The course involves weekly face-to-face meetings. Alex will lead each session, helping you apply the unit’s concepts directly to your relationship. At the end of each unit, simple, targeted exercises will be provided for you and your partner to complete before the next session, reinforcing the learning.
Important Guideline: This is a learning programme, not therapy. All sessions are confidential and guided by the BACP Ethical Framework.
Payment options (5-unit course)
Option 1: Pay-as-you-go @ £110 per session. £550 in total.
Option 2: Two instalments @ £250 each. £500 in total (save £50).
