Alex Trippier
Founder of Be a Happier Parent | Couples Coach | Podcast Host
Alex Trippier is an educator and couples coach dedicated to helping parents build stronger, more connected relationships through the chaos of early family life.
As host of the acclaimed Be a Happier Parent podcast, Alex has interviewed leading experts in psychology, gender dynamics, and family systems, exploring how small children can disrupt even the strongest partnerships and how couples can rebuild closeness, fairness, and joy.
With formal training in counselling (Level 2 qualified and currently completing Level 3), Alex combines professional rigour with deep personal insight. As a happily married father of three, he speaks from lived experience of navigating the mental load, identity shifts, and communication breakdowns that parenthood can trigger.
His flagship program, Partnering in Parenthood, introduces the concept of “relationship prehab”—a proactive, skills-based approach to preventing resentment and relational injuries before they take hold. The course has become a cornerstone for couples seeking not just to survive early parenthood, but to emerge stronger, more connected, and truly shared in their family life.
Grounded, relatable, and research-informed, Alex’s work offers parents practical tools to create a partnership that thrives—not in spite of having children, but because of them.
